Meet the Author Kimberlee Ann Bastian
All her life, Kimberlee knew writing was her passion and
that words had power. Inspired by her love for American
nostalgia/history and mythology, THE ELEMENT
ODYSSEYS became her first published series with the
release of The Breedling and the City in the Garden in
September 2016. With two decades under her fingertips,
Kimberlee continues to expand the series as well as
creating unique, and fantastical new stories. When she is
not in her writer’s room, she’s meeting readers at comic
cons and book festivals. In her spare time, she enjoys
cycling and catching up South Korean pop culture.
Back in February 1997, Kimberlee Ann Bastian went to a sleepover birthday party and that night watched a horror movie based on a Stephen King novel. The very next day she began to type her first short story and knew it was her "density" (BTTF reference) to be a storyteller, a writer, and ultimately an author. Even though it's taken her twenty years to get the author leg of her journey, the best is yet to come.
